We take a food processor and proceed with the processing of the dough with which we are going to make our crispy chickpea balls. Place the well-washed zucchini inside the container, trimmed on both ends and then cut into small pieces. Add the chopped onion, the paprika, the ginger, and the lemon zest specified in the recipe. At this point we can operate the food processor and blend everything well. Once we have made our uniform and creamy mixture without lumps, we will have to make it more compact so that we can form the meatballs and cook them.

How to prepare crispy chickpea balls

We add the breadcrumbs and form a more compact compound, we can also knead with our hands, as we deem most appropriate. With our hands we take some dough and form meatballs and place them on a pan coated with oven paper. Sprinkle with olive oil and bake at 180° for 40 minutes. Turn the meatballs halfway through cooking and check that they are cooked to taste. Be careful not to burn them if our horn is too strong. Let’s bake them and serve them. Enjoy your meal!
