Very easy and quick to make, with this recipe everyone can prepare them and even with very little effort: even those who have never set foot behind the stove until now, and they are always fantastic!

Ready in minutes, they are one of those gluten free vegetarian treats and ingredients of animal origin and their derivatives that everyone can eat: even celiacs and those who follow a vegan diet.

It is not only in knowing how to clean them well but above all in their cooking: in fact, they must not be boiled for a long time otherwise they will lose their crunchiness and their great scenic effect. Always remember that the fundamental thing is knowing how to clean these vegetables in the right way: the ideal is to deprive them of only the part that is attached to the stalk but if you prefer, you can eliminate both if in doubt. the fundamental thing, however, is always one: deprive the green beans of their external lateral strands, otherwise once cooked they will also be difficult to eat.

  • Ingredients
  • a drizzle of 100% Italian raw extra virgin olive oil
  • 250 g of green beans
  • salt up to taste
  • 1 clove of white garlic
  • a red pepper

Green beans in garlic, procedure

Remove the part attached to the stem and their lateral thread from the green beans and then wash them carefully under a jet of fresh running water before boiling them in a pot of lightly salted boiling water for 15-20 minutes.

After the necessary time, drain the boiled green beans. Fry the minced garlic in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil for a few moments and then sauté the green beans for 2 minutes. At the end of cooking, add salt to taste, season with chilli pepper and serve while still hot.
