Today we’re going to prepare something dietary, but a side dish that is tasty and I can’t imagine the sadness typical of low-calorie diets. Aubergines are the vegetable in question, and we know they are one of the most malleable vegetables that actually exist, with aubergines we can really prepare anything. For a simple dietary and light side dish, we can easily go and prepare the most elaborate recipe ever copied, eggplant parmigiana.

But if we like pasta dishes, nobody can take away a great Sicilian one. Precisely because of this, using aubergines for recipes is always a certainty, a guarantee. Today, however, we remain light and in fact we will pass them in the oven without taking up too much time, the many resources. In fact, this recipe will prepare in a very short time and is also quite cheap.

The important thing is to follow the steps so that the result is perfect. Let’s go and see the ingredients we need but it is easy to understand that they are really simple, few, and available at home at any time.

Let’s start preparing these delicious oven-grilled aubergines and as a first step we should take the aubergines, wash them well, trim them at both ends and cut them into slices that are not too thin but not too double. Wash them well and leave them to soak in water and salt for 30 minutes. After the necessary time, take the aubergine slices, rinse them again and dry them well with a single clean fennel. We take the baking pan and line the hooks with special paper and place the aubergine slices on top which we are going to brush with a little extra virgin olive oil to sprinkle them well. At this point, even if it is advisable before starting to prepare the aubergines to already turn on the oven, we will light this at 180° and put the pan in the oven with the aubergine slices on top for 20 minutes.

When our aubergines are soft and slightly toasted, he will take them out of the oven and put them on a serving plate. We proceed to the dressing and then wet them with a drizzle of virgin olive oil with the help of a knife and we also treat a couple of cloves of garlic. We mix everything and pass over the eggplant slices. This oven cooking procedure is very simple but we can use the same mechanism if we decide to cook the aubergine slices on the grill. In fact in this case it will be advisable to heat the grill previously so that when we go to place the aubergine slices the it will already be hot and they will sew together perfectly without sticking.
