Ingredients

200 grams of mixed dried fruit (sultanas, apricots, dried cherries, etc.)
100 grams of hazelnuts
2 tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder
50 grams of flax seeds
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
100 ml of vegetable milk (soy, rice, oats, etc.)
A pinch of salt

Preparation of the fruit and cocoa spreadable cream

To make this fabulous cream, start by toasting the hazelnuts for a few minutes in a non-stick pan without adding oil. Separately, in a bowl, put the dried fruit and flax seeds.

Blend the freshly toasted hazelnuts, dried fruit and flaxseed together in the blender. Add the vegetable milk, the oil, the bitter cocoa powder and a pinch of salt and blend again until you get a smooth and homogeneous cream.

Transfer the spreadable cream into a clean jar and store in the fridge. Your spreadable dried fruit and cocoa cream is ready to be consumed. It can be served with a slice of wholemeal bread or with a savory pie, or as an accompaniment to a yogurt. Also excellent to be enjoyed alone.
