Ready for the new sweet recipe? My cake is special, satiating but doesn’t make you fat, it is prepared with only simple ingredients, no eggs, butter or milk are needed. Slice after slice this cake will disappear from the ideal plate for an afternoon snack.

Preparing the dough won’t take you long, just 10 minutes and then we put it in the oven and wait for it to cook in the oven. We serve in slices and enjoy in good company.

Orange and yogurt cake without eggs and sugar, slice after slice will disappear into thin air

After preparation, the orange and yoghurt cake keeps well under a glass bell jar for a couple of days. Slice after slice it will conquer the palates of everyone, even little ones.

Ingredients for 6 people

250 g of 00 flour
150 g sunflower oil
60 g of stevia
a jar of light plain yogurt
juice of an orange
grated peel of an organic or untreated orange
1 sachet of baking powder
1 orange to decorate
icing sugar to taste

Orange cake without sugar and eggs

In order to prepare the orange cake without eggs and sugar, we start by washing the two oranges, we extract the juice from one and filter it, we extract the peel from the other and then we cut it into slices and we use these to decorate the cake.

Place the sifted flour in a bowl, add the stevia, plain yogurt, seed oil and baking powder. We work with the electric whisk and gradually add the filtered orange juice and the grated peel. We continue to work with the electric whisk until we obtain a homogeneous dough.

We can then pour the mixture obtained into the oiled cake mould, cook in a hot oven at 180° for 35 – 40 minutes, always testing with a toothpick to confirm cooking. If you don’t know how to do it click here.

After turning off the oven once the cake is finished cooking, let the cake cool before removing it from the mold.

Place on a serving plate, dust with icing sugar, decorate with oranges and serve in slices.
