Let’s find out how to prepare this water-based carrot cake, very few and very simple steps for a fantastic result. The dessert can be kept under a glass bell jar for several days, or you can cut it into slices and put it in the freezer.
Ingredients for 4 people
250 g of flour
50 g of potato starch
150 g of cane sugar
2 small carrots
200ml water
100 ml of sunflower seed oil
grated peel of an orange
juice of an orange
1 sachet of baking powder
icing sugar to taste
Method for water-based carrot cake
To prepare this water-based carrot cake, wash the carrots and grate them, keep them in a bowl. Then we put the brown sugar, the sifted flour and starch, the yeast in a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
We slowly pour in the water and then the oil, whip the mixture with an electric whisk, so as to obtain a homogeneous mixture, we also add the filtered orange juice, the grated peel and finally we incorporate the carrots.

Only when the dough is ready do we pour it into an oiled donut mold and bake in a hot oven and leave to cook in a hot oven at 180° for 35 minutes.

We turn off when cooking is finished and then serve when it has cooled, we can add some icing sugar.
