Appetizing and inviting, they are so good that they disappear from the serving tray in even fewer minutes than it took you to make them. And how could it be otherwise?

The Pan-fried asparagus and shrimp they are fantastic! We are talking about a food rich in important nutrients for our body, among which we remember the mineral salts and vitamins present in vegetables and the omega 3 present in shellfish.

Genuine and full of flavour, serve this delicacy with slices of fresh bread and it’s an instant hit! If you can, always make a little more because surely they will ask you for an encore, if not for tris!

  • Instruments
  • a knife
  • a spatula
  • a non-stick pan
  • a colander
  • Ingredients for 2 people
  • salt up to taste
  • 250 g of prawns
  • a clove of black garlic
  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus of 250 g
  • a drizzle of 100% Italian raw extra virgin olive oil
  • a few drops of filtered lemon juice
  • chopped parsley and fresh basil to perfume

Pan-fried asparagus and shrimp, procedure

Dab the prawns with kitchen paper, wash them and remove the head, carapace and black thread and then leave them to rest in the colander. Remove the hardest part from the asparagus, wash and dry them before cutting them into chunks.

Brown the garlic in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil and cook the cleaned asparagus for 10 minutes. Once the necessary time has elapsed, incorporate the peeled prawns, perfume with lemon juice, salt and proceed with cooking, turning the shellfish from time to time to have a homogeneous colour. At the end of cooking, sprinkle with finely chopped aromatic herbs and serve hot.
