Ingredients for the sponge cake
220 g of 00 flour
170 g of sugar
4 whole eggs
170 g of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
For the mascarpone cream
500 g of mascarpone
160ml of milk
120 g of sugar
5 egg yolks
1 sachet of vanillin
For the bath
500ml of milk
15 g of soluble coffee
50 ml of coffee liqueur
For coverage
Bitter cocoa powder, to taste
Preparation of the tiramisu cake with sponge cake
Start by preparing the sponge cake: whisk the eggs with the sugar until they are shiny and frothy, then add the flour, melted butter, vanilla extract and mix all the ingredients. Pour the mixture into a well-buttered cake mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Once ready, take it out and let it cool.
In the meantime, prepare the mascarpone cream: mix the mascarpone with the sugar in a bowl, add the egg yolks, the vanillin and, slowly, the milk. Once blended, put the cream in the fridge.
